The Arrival (2016)
- The Arrival is a short film which shows Anna's thought process as she makes the decision whether or not to have a baby.
- Mis-en-scene very important, Anna's internal monologue seems to interact with the things and people around her
- Diagetic sound also acts as a catalyst for her thoughts
- Play-like aesthetic. The café seems like a stage, with Anna in the spotlight.
- Camera dollys forward to a close up, throughout the film, showing how tension builds as Anna has a decision to make.
