The Ellington Kid (2012)
- The Ellington Kid- Dan Sully, follows two boys in a kebab shop as they discuss an urban legend.
- The stabbing is foreshadowed in the opening, when we see a knife being sharpened. We start to hear the story being told and see it at the same time, there are a series of long slow-motion shots and intercutting between the boy and the kebab shop. The final slow-motion shot is the boy falling over- showing what he sees as he loses consciousness.
- Non diegetic music is used during the confrontation scene, it increases in volume, increasing the tension and also reflects how loud and violent the gang is.
